Advocate
An Ambassador standing at the beginning of the advocacy section gives the visitors the Advocacy and Reflection sheet and directs them to the first table.
- Table 1
- The person managing the table will ask how the whole experience was. Then they will proceed to give the visitors a full-page take-away with pictures of all six refugee children and where to find further information from CRS. The sheet is made in Apple Pages and can be downloaded and edited in Pages.
- The reverse side is the reflection on Catholic Social Teaching. Download and print this Catholic Social Teaching reflection sheet
- Table 2 and 3
- At these tables there will be computers to send messages to Congress and the president.
- Here is the link to the Jesuit Refugee Service site, which has several current campaigns with emails you can modify with your own words. Participants may use the form letter as is or modify it to their beliefs.
